The NolChiri process is the creation of meat safety expert James Riley and his wife and partner Rose Riley. Starting working life as a Veterinarian and working in meat quality and control for the last 27yrs, James has teamed with his wife Rose, a Clinical Nutritionist with a science degree, to develop this radically different, clinically proven meat production process.

 

 

As an export consultant in the meat industry, the question of meat safety and the ongoing problem of bacterial contamination was often forefront in James’s mind. A simple thought in early 2013 began the NolChiri journey… “Is the skin of an animal an effective sterile packaging?”

 

 

With the encouragement and support of family and friends, James and Rose have spent many hours conducting trials, collecting samples and evaluating results. Their commitment to producing quality meat and avoiding adding to the environmental burden of packaging has produced extraordinary outcomes.

 

 

NolChiri meat is now being sold on the local market, while NolChiri NZ works towards market access for international trade.
